‘Chez’ is the French meaning ‘At the home of’ and that’s exactly what Chez Marshalls is about…home. The name began as a joke on a post they wrote on Facebook! As an avid DIYer and being married to a Joiner the owner had to hone her skills if they wanted to get anything done! You know what they say about being married to a tradesman…’you’re always the last to get a job done!’ and it’s true. They recently completed a loft conversion on their house and whilst in the process of construction a friend on Facebook jokingly asked if the extension was going to be a cafe where they could sell their delicious cupcakes. The conversion then became known amongst their Facebook friends as ‘Chez Mashalls Roof Top Cafe’, in reality it’s actually a bedroom and bathroom but you can enjoy their festivities at the Spark Lane site.
